Jill’s brother Jeff and his wife Mariko regularly take their dog Momo out to the beach at Pillar Point, just north of Half Moon Bay. Yesterday we went along. Mariko had asked me to take some photos of Momo, so I had my zoom on the camera. Every other view I saw needed a longer lens to properly capture it, but it was a fun afternoon wandering along the beach watching Momo ask everyone to throw the ball for her (we think she’s outgrown asking everyone for food).

The tide was unusually far, far out, and there were lots of people there, hunting we believe for mussels.
