I thought I would get back out to the Leslie Science Center, or more particularly into the Black Pond Woods. Still thinking of last week’s tree photos, this seemed a great opportunity to hope for something better. Last week I had been looking for the trees against the sky, and now instead I would try looking down.

This second photo goes back to that abstract idea, and is reminiscent of this photo from earlier this year in Palo Alto, that you don’t need to be looking at a tree to take a photo of tree.
