I came down to London on Friday on the Caledonian Sleeper. Great to able to travel down at night, although probably would have been a better night’s sleep if I’d not thought a seat would be adequate. And no, I didn’t try for any photographs. I was in the city for a tech conference, so again didn’t try to get any photographs.
I did plan to take photographs on the way back to Inverness, but first I took advantage of being in London to visit Tate Britain to explore the David Hockney retrospective as well as their Turner collection.
Walking away from the Tate along the Thames, I was able to get the camera out and explore some of the surrounding architecture, before heading to the train to York.
