I wanted to see a lot more of Scotland, and I certainly did that; and while, unfortunately, far too much of it was viewed through a car window, it was still all great. Again I met lots of wonderful, nice and helpful people; especially after I sprained my ankle!

I don’t think there will be quite as many photographs to fill out a gallery as after the last trip, but still early days for working through them. There might even be more trees than falls!

I think my drive from Ullapool to Lochinver qualifies as the highlight (closely followed by Glen Affric) but I would have liked to have seen more opportunities to stop. There’s still some places I haven’t been, of course, and still some typical Scottish scenes I’ve yet to photograph: snow, views from the top of mountains, probably more. I will have to come again, and I have an idea!
