Another trip to Soul Studio with Jill. Further research had shown not too much further away The Nature Sanctuary run by the City of Orchard Lake. Smaller than the West Bloomfield Nature Reserve but just as wooded and I found a nice pond to explore (from the thoughtfully provided boardwalk). I had my phone on in case Jill needed me to return to the studio early, so my friend Paul was able to call and chat while I was working on a composition.

Of course, the sanctuary is right next to a big lake, but access was limited and I decided I didn’t have time to get to where I might have better views. Another place to visit another day, how fabulous!
