Maybe it was because I haven’t been making so many photographs locally, but we drove down to visit friends in south-east Ohio, just as fall color was in full swing, and we did not stop, I did not make any photographs, even when we drove through the Hocking Hill area we had visited a couple of years back.
And even when we were on our friends’ property, way out towards the Appalachians (think hilly, wooded) I still did not get out my camera.
We decided to travel the long way home and went across to Cincinnatti and visited the Art Museum (they had a special exhibition of early Ansel Adams) and stayed a night in an excellent hotel.
