I’ve continued to practice with my new camera, taking photos as I walk in and out of town, and in the garden. I’ve come to the conclusion that making interesting photos of (our) garden is really difficult. Have to really think through the whole process, including considering what is it about my more successful non-garden photos, and the whole selective focus thing (of FF SLR compared to 2x Olympus, not to mention the LX2). I hope I have better examples than this, and I have no idea if it is good or if I like it, but I think it is at least interesting on this journey. I took it as I arrived home, from the sidewalk looking down the side of our house, handheld with the 180mm lens.
