Continuing in the vein of photographing outside my norms, I was out yesterday taking photographs including people. Not only that, but hand-held as well. Just trying to limber up. I went down to the Broadway Bridge and was rewarded with a busy Saturday afternoon at the “still new to me” Argo Cascades, which replaced the old canoe portage on the Huron River, for getting past the Argo Dam. After the Cascades itself, the kayakers (no canoes actually allowed on the Cascades) emerge through an exciting-looking chute into the river itself. The footpath is bridged across the waterway providing an excellent vantage point.
