17 days after it fell, the snow is still on the ground. The Sedum is still there, though the old flowers have lost their white hats. The paths that the cats and other critters follow, and us on the way to the compost pile, are pretty ingrained.
Update 1: I was looking at the footprints in the snow, how perhaps the highlights had been blown, and thinking maybe a polarizer could help. So I tried again another day. It’s possible I’m out of practice with the polarizer (certainly the angle was good for it to be effective if relevant) but it doesn’t seem to have made much difference.
Update 2: Another day, another look. Well, of course, there’s not that much detail to see in those foot prints anyway. The photo looks pretty much the same as the eye sees the holes. Always interesting.
