I know, that doesn’t look much like a photo of a farm. We were fortunate to be able to stay a couple of nights at the farm that Elizabeth’s parents own outside of Benton Harbor. We went into St Joseph for lunch one day and afterwards I went for a walk along the beach, Lake Michigan, with my camera.

Next door to the farm is the Sarett Nature Center and we had a great hike along a trail we had not been on before. The staff told us there might be a beaver on the pond (along a creek that drains into the Paw Paw River). I think we were at the right pond, but I didn’t see a dam as I was expecting, but this “construct” seems very suggestive of beaver.
