Inverness was everything I hoped for, seemingly the most temperate area, certainly north of the Central Belt; a good location for heading out to explore, even down to London; and lots going on in the arts and technology, a hub for the highlands and islands.
Everywhere I went the people were friendly, open and helpful, as illustrated by Carme whom I met in London at the conference and then she introduced me to the WordPress group in Glasgow and gave me a lightning tour of the city.
And what about the photographs? I certainly covered a lot of ground, which means I have a great variety, as you can see here in the Journal and over in the Galleries. My time on Harris provided the highlights. There’s still some places I haven’t been, of course, and still some typical Scottish scenes I’ve yet to photograph: snow, views from the top of mountains, probably more. I will have to come again!
